The ACC has twenty-two members, the four Test-playing countries and eighteen others; Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Iran, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, UAE

There is a competitive program for seniors and juniors. Every year two pan-Asia age-group tournaments are conducted, since 2006, these have been split into two tier categories 'Elite' and 'Challenge'. Tiers are based on rankings established by performances in previous tournaments.

Every year either the ACC Trophy (50 overs for all members) or ACC Twenty20 Cup (for top 10 ranked members) is held.

A Women's Tournament was held for the first time in July 2007 and will be played every two years.

The Asia Cup (4 Test-playing countries + 2 qualifiers via ACC Trophy) is scheduled to be held every two years, the next in April 2008.

Since 2005 the Afro-Asia Cup (best players of Asia v best of Africa) has been held annually.

Approximately 150 fixtures will be played under the ACC banner in 2007-2008.

Apart from the tournaments, the ACC also conducts curatorship, umpiring and coaching courses at all levels. Nine such courses are scheduled for 2007-2008.

The ACC's five Development Officers - Roger Binny, Aminul Islam, Dr. Vece Paes, Rumesh Ratnayake, Iqbal Sikander - along with resource persons and outside consultants (eg. the New Zealand Sports Turf Institute) travel to countries to educate members' cricket communities.

Focus has shifted this year into 'Special Development Programs' for those countries - Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Nepal, Oman, Singapore, UAE - who will participate in the ICC World Cricket League.

In addition, the ACC is working on the development of cricket in China as a 'Special Project'.
